I DECIDED TO CREATE A GROUP THAT I MYSELF WOULD WANT TO BE IN
I started Resellicious OA Cafe after 4 years of selling on Amazon. One of my early struggles was finding enough inventory as my budget and workload grew. I joined groups, and signed up for lead lists to find more profitable products. I always ended my subscriptions due to the same problems:
The few leads I bought barely covered the cost of the group
Too many low profit items making only 15 - 20% ROI
Leads were not researched well, and selling prices were inaccurate
Groups used annoying monitors with products that had no profit
I couldn't help but wonder if some of the successful sellers running these groups were keeping most of the better items for themselves.
For me this meant:
1) Every lead would be profitable. Paying customers shouldn't have to sift through dozens of leads to find 1 worth buying.
2) 30% would be the ROI minimum, not the maximum.
3) Top 1% rank in a category is not good enough. I regularly post goods in the top 0.01% - 0.5% of a category.

The most important thing to understand is that some tanking is unavoidable. Focus on what you can control - buying profitable items that move. Don't depend on just a few skus unless they are very exclusive. Building your inventory over a period of time will help insure you always have a stream of items selling.
Leads are checked against Keepa graphs to ensure they have a consistent history selling at the current price. Many of the leads are limited markdown items, and have limited stock available. It is very difficult for other sellers to find these items as they are gone in less than 24 hours. Leads also have high ROI, which means even a bit of tanking can still result in respectable profit. Leads are frequently top 0.01% - 0.03% in their category ensuring the move quickly, and low sellers will sell out. I do not see tanking from our group members. Rather, it tends to happen when a major seller, like a 3rd party retail site, comes on the listing with heavy stock at a low price.
Although there is no set schedule, a lot of leads are posted in the AM to early afternoon eastern time Monday - Friday. This is because I want to post sales before items get purchased by consumers or other shoppers. Waiting until the afternoon or evening to post sales can result in the leads being sold out.
Those who follow me know that I've sold shoes for years, and I know the niche well. This enables me to share competitive deals and insight on the category. The leads range from shoes and apparel to sporting goods, toys, grocery products, beauty, supplements, seasonal "Hot Items," and more.
In the past I would have said yes. There are products posted that could sell well on these platforms each week. However, 90% of the products are suited to Amazon sellers only. The group's priced has increased over time, and I can't say it would be a great value for eBay only sellers today. You would need to be very dedicated to looking through the leads to make it work. Unless you have a strong interested in selling on Amazon and getting ungated in the near future, then I don't recommend joining.

Membership is capped at 250 members. Only about 15 - 20 people, less than 10%, click on an average link, according to my tracking data. The entire group is not competing for every lead. You also receive 20 leads per day, where's smaller groups post 5 - 10, so there is plenty for everyone.
